Objective: The International Conference aims to initiate a shared process with local Churches, in
order to strengthen the ongoing formation and accompaniment of priests, taking into consideration
the results of the recent survey sent to Bishops’ Conferences Worldwide contributions from
participants before and during the Conference, and the Ratio Fundamentalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis
“The gift of the priestly vocation”.
Addressed to: diocesan/regional/national referents for the ongoing formation of priests, together
with experts and those with an invested interest in the subject matter.
At the end of the conference, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Note: With regard to the celebration of daily Mass suggestions shall soon be forthcoming
with respect to times and locations.
Each session will include:
- Brief introduction, video of Pope Francis, prayer;
- Two presentations (based on the results of the survey);
- Personal time for reflection on questions related to the theme, in preparation for the Groups;
- Possibility to share reactions via an App;
- Presentation of good practices;
- Sharing by language groups and geographical areas, led by a facilitator;
- In the morning of Saturday, 10 February 2024, sharing in the general assembly.
